This is what I have to leave when I go to work in the mornings:

Is it any wonder I’m always late?

P.S. This picture gives you a glimpse of the mismatched jumble that is our bedroom. Note the Holly Hobby-esque quilt I’ve had since around second grade (hey, we’re having a cold snap). And the hideous touch lamp. And the pile of Darwin’s clothes (much smaller since I forced him to organize the bedroom with me this weekend). And the ’70s yellowish dresser. And the supercool Delias sheets. (I love Delias sheets, even if they are designed with teenagers in mind.)

Hey, we have three of those lamps!!! I keep [wishful] thinking that I’ve given them away but I think they must keep cloning themselves. Convenient though. I think at this point we’ve corralled them safely with one our granddaughter’s room, one in the baby’s room/guest room, and one in our sewing room – hopefully none of them will work their way back into our bedroom, which just seems to keep happening!

Is that a min pin? We have one too! Ive never been a fan of little dogs, but ours is like a guard dog and when its time for bed, shes the first one there, barking at us to get to sleep!
