The Heaviest TP Holder in the World

I bought this old toilet paper holder from eBay, along with some other bathroom stuff:

It looks pretty ordinary, but no. This toilet paper holder doubles as an arm-strengthening device. Just sit on the toilet and while you, um ... do your business, just lift the toilet paper roll, HOLD, squeeze that tricep. Feel the burn!

This is the only explanation that comes to mind for a toilet paper holder that weighs probably 6 pounds.

Update: Ok, so it only weighs 2 pounds 10 ounces. That's still really heavy for a TP holder!

Nifty! Boy, they don't make 'em like that anymore.

Ebay is just great for this sort of thing, isn't it. I bought a set of bathroom things off EBay for around $50. I got a TP holder, 2 towel bars (1 w/glass shelf) and a soap dish. I had to replace the piece of glass but other than that they were great. The TP holder is very similar to one I saw on the http://vintageplumbing.com/generic5.html site you mentioned in another post. They want about $300 for they have!

That's how I can keep Bubba from stealing the toilet paper rolls off of the TP holder! He wrestles the rolls off and I find a living room full of TP bits the next day.

A super-duper toilet paper roll holder. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for one.

I hope that the shipping costs were not more than the TP holder?
That would hold industrial strength TP!

BTW you are my ebay finds guru!
