A Whole Other House Up There

Until now, info on my attic has been restricted to one photo on the Entry Hall page. This weekend I took more comprehensive photos of the attic and gave this room it's own page. That's only fair, since the attic is the same size as the whole rest of the house.

Yeah, this is what I did instead of doing actual work on the house. I was giving Darwin an off weekend since he was sick with some sort of vile flu all last week. And we had to watch the Alabama vs. Tennessee football game. We're 7-0 now!!! Roll Tide!

Oh, and I forgot to mention it was interesting seeing Sec. of State Condoleezza Rice watching the Alabama football game. I wonder if she sang, "WE JUST BEAT THE HELL OUT OF YOU" at the end? Something tells me ... um, no.

Our cat got in the attic of our house when we moved in, he was in there for a couple days, too afraid to come out. Our attic is a lot smaller though, I still couldn't get the cat out.

Henry got up there in the first couple of weeks, and we had to chase him all over the place. Boy, was that fun.

Very cool attic. My house has one and it's not real tiny (it ain't real big either) but there is only a scuttle hole into it so there is no way I'm going to put anything up there. All I want to do is blast it full of blow-in insulation and nail it shut. :)

Nice attic. My cat Morimer makes almost daily trips up to my attic. There is a stair leading up to it so it is an easy climb.

Hi Kristin! Thanks for the terrific comment, my friend! It sure does feel good to get something accomplished! Now, if I can just get things tidy!

By the way, I love, love, love your attic space!!! We don't have an attic, as all the ceilings are pitched upstairs. We've always wanted a "third floor", but they're usually only found downtown. Can't wait to see what you do with the place in the future!!

Have a wonderful day!

The attic is awesome! I am so jealous! Maybe I need to move to Eutaw so that I can have a beautiful house like yours!
