I had a request for photos after yesterday's post, and I assume she meant photos of the stripping progress - not my oozing burn. ;)
So here ya go:

Yes, of course of the work, not the burn! Thanks and it looks great! Are you planning to leave the doors white or strip those as well?
Good question ... my original plan was to leave the doors white (just because I'm lazy more than anything), but then I remembered that the POs already stripped the other side of these doors, so they're gettin' nekkid, too. The only doors in the room that will probably stay white are the bifold French doors because I'm not ambitious enough to strip around that much glass ... AND they were installed some time in the 20s or 30s and appear to have always been painted.
Looks good so far. I’ve been at this stage of undress many, many times. Well worth the effort. I’ve never really burned myself bad with a heat gun, but I think it is just a matter of time. I’ve singed arm hair on more than one occasion, though. Another good reason to wear a respirator – pee yew!
